Professional Development
APNNE assists with members' professional development by:
- Building and strengthening peer networks
- Offering various meeting topics showcasing best practices in the field, with internal and external experts leading discussions
- Bringing in guest speakers
- Setting-up joint meetings with New England Presenters and New England Foundation for the Arts
- Funding excursion grants- see below for more info!
Professional Development Grants
As a benefit of your APNNE membership, you are eligible to receive funding through our Professional Development Grants Program to be used for various development opportunity for members.
Once again we will award two grants in the amount of $500 each for the winter/spring/summer cycle. This grant is open to both Professional Development, (including potential on-line/virtual learning opportunities) and for programming/opportunities to see work.
A total of $1,000 will be awarded each year. APNNE’s year runs from July 1 – June 30.
How to apply: Please use the NEFA Presenter Travel Fund application.
Because this is now completely electronic, you will need to fill it out, print it out, rescan it, and send it to [email protected].
We can also accept applications postmarked by the deadline via U.S. mail: Vicky Pittman, The Colonial Theatre, P.O. Box 77, Keene, NH 03431.
Please Note: Make sure you don’t hit “send” and submit the application to NEFA!
We simply use their application and ask that you print, scan and send to APNNE/ Vicky Pittman at the PO Box listed above.
After your conference/event/showcase, you will be required to submit a final budget report with receipts in order to receive reimbursement.
